Dr. Ian Cooke is a native of Southern California, growing up in Chino Hills. He wrestled for 4 years and was an active member of the AVID program throughout high school. He then went to California State San Marcos for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a emphasis in pre physical therapy. Staying passionate with sports injuries Dr. Cooke went to Palmer West Chiropractic school in San Jose to begin his health care career. There he discovered a passion for chiropractic care and the scope it provides to allow him to treat a wide variety of conditions. He has had extensive training and clinical experience in TMJ dysfunction, prenatal care, infant care, extremity adjustments, soft tissue therapies, rehab exercises, sports injuries, kinesiotape application, and Graston technique. Him and his wife Marie have been happily married over a year although together over 10 years. They reside in Golden Hill and have a dog Parker and 2 cats.Dr. Marc Grow and Dr. Ian Cooke met at school in San Jose both being San Diego residents living far away from home they began a mentorship that did not have any business intentions. Dr. Grow taught Dr. Cooke adjustments and provided tons of information on what to expect in the next couple years of schooling. That would continue as Dr. Grow opened Grow Chiropractic and began building a patient base in the Rancho Bernardo area. 3 years later Dr. Cooke would step in to take over Dr. Grow’s position as Marc would move his family of 5 to Kanab, Utah to open another branch of Grow Chiropractic. While Dr. Cooke is the full time treating doctor at this San Diego location, Dr. Grow is always in contact and spirits, and will often be seen subbing for Dr. Cooke a few times a year. This business literally continues to grow as we have added a super team of massage therapists and acupuncture to help our patients get pain free without medication in every way possible!
