Dr. Yousef Zaffarkhan, Dr. Z for short, was born and raised in Chicago and began his undergraduate studies at University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, IL. Dr. Zaffarkhan earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, before going on to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, known as the oldest and most trusted institution in the profession.Body Works Health & Wellness was started in 2010 by Dr. Yousef Zaffarkhan. Body Works Health & Wellness accepts Major Medical Insurance but also has affordable care plans and wellness plans. Dr. Yousef Zaffarkhan empowers his patients to script their own health and wellness journey. With certifications in Diversified, Thompson and Gonstead spinal chiropractic techniques and years of experience incorporating complementary wellness services, Dr. Zaffarkahn utilizes an innovative approach to help his patients proactively participate in their recovery plan after an injury, while also reducing chronic pain.

I can’t recommend my acupuncturist, Dr. Z, enough! After consistently doing acupuncture throughout my egg freezing journey, I was able to retrieve 3x as many eggs as my previous cycle. I truly believe the treatments helped support my body, reduce stress, and improve my overall experience. So grateful for the support every step of the way!

I always arrive with a sore back or stiffness from Construction Work. I get a message before my adjustment so I'm not so stiff, then Dr. Z adjusts my back and I'm on my way. I always leave feeling better than I arrive. I recommend Dr. Z and His Staff for all Their Excellent Work.
