My name is Eric Gibson and I'm a 29-year-old born and raised in Sacramento, California. At a young age, I began working at a metal plating facility followed by working for a local moving company and then mixing ingredients for a Keurig Dr. Pepper facility. Now that I've added Massage Therapy to that long list of physically demanding careers, I guess you could say that I have definitely learned the hard way that self-care is absolutely essential. In short, my personal experience with managing my own pain and my educational experience surrounding Therapeutic Massage and Pain Management make me uniquely qualified to be your next massage therapist. You'll be hard-pressed to find someone as passionate about helping you to find practical solutions to work towards your pain-free reality.After years of performing intense, repetitive manual labor and pushing my body past its limit, I saw an ad for massage school - "Set your own schedule and have work you love". Initially, I signed up for the program expecting an easier job with fewer hours worked, but after my time in massage school helped me to address some painful areas of my body in a very practical manner, massage definitely became a passion for me. For the first year and a half after school ended, I spent some time working at a local Massage Envy as well as working in a Chiropractic Clinic. I also took an Advanced Neuromuscular Massage course to begin gearing my skills toward Pain Management. After this period of time, I began to feel that Bodywork is too physically demanding to allow an employer to keep the majority of the massage rate, so I set my mind to working for myself. On that day in 2019, Body Fluent Massage was born and has since evolved into the Mobile Massage Business that you know and love today.
