Cody Barnett PT has been helping people overcome pain and injury since 1991, when he graduated with honors from Wichita State University. An adjunct professor at WSU. he has taught courses at the collegiate level in anatomy, orthopedics, and rehabilitation, and is a contributing writer to Active.com. He has attended or taught continuing education courses in the areas of back and neck pain; knee and shoulder rehabilitation; sports injury treatment and prevention; lower extremity biomechanics; and general health and wellness. Cody is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Kansas Physical Therapy Association. He is the only physical therapist in Kansas who is also a member of the American Medical Athletic Association. In addition, he is a member of Run Wichita, the Oz Bike Club, and the Kansas River Valley Triathlon Club. Cody excels at explaining complex medical and biomechanical problems in terms that anyone can understand.Experiencing an injury is never fun.
