Dr. Hameed was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. He finished high school in Nairobi and obtained certification in British GCE O' and A' Levels. Upon completion of high school he spent two years at the University of Toronto and finished his Undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He then moved to Lombard, IL to attend Chiropractic school at the National University of Health Sciences. He completed his certification in Acupuncture in February of 2005. He graduated from National in December of 2005 with a degree in Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Hameed has been practicing Chiropractic and Acupuncture since June 2006. Dr. Hameed of Arwa Chiropractic has focused his practice on helping families achieve their greatest health potential and has helped several families in and around the Aurora community become pain free, live healthier, stay well and helped change their lives for the better.I started working as a Chiropractic Physician after graduating from National University of Health Sciences in December of 2005. My first 3 years were spent fruitfully working as an Independent Contractor in Naperville starting in July of 2006, near the Route 59 Metra station. I then moved into a bigger space starting June of 2009, located at 4255 Westbrook Drive, Suite 213, Aurora. After the lease ended at Westbrook Drive, I moved half a mile down the street to 3845 McCoy Drive, Suite 105, Aurora located in the Vastu Commons office complex and near to the Fox Valley Mall. This is my current location since I moved in on January 1st of 2014.
