Jerry Sher is the Founder of AMP Physical Therapy. He earned his Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2000. Since that time he has practiced as a clinician, specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. ​ He utilizes Pilates based rehab with his clients which helps to improve alignment and deep core strength. Before his career in physical therapy, he was a professional dancer and trained in L.A. and New York. He knows personally about repetitive injuries and how to treat them. He is an avid tennis player, teaches Cardio Dance, and also loves to play beach volleyball. At AMP, our approach to Physical Therapy incorporates tools for pain-free movement, building core strength and improving overall postural health. Our core pillars are action, motion, and performance. Injuries and weaknesses can hinder your range of motion. We simulate movements to mimic what you have lost through a personalized exercise program. We also incorporate hands on treatment and focus on alignment, improving mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Jerry Sher specializes in rehabilitation, fitness, and overall health. Through the utilization of pilates, dance oriented techniques, and one-on-one attention, Jerry and his team are able to customize a treatment plan to meet the needs of each patient.
