Founder of Thrive Integrated Physical Therapy, Tamar is a highly regarded physical therapist recognized within the New York City medical community as a remarkable clinician, diagnostician and healer. From the earliest days in her career, Tamar recognized that in order for her patients to effectively heal, the application of advanced manual therapy techniques combined with thorough and focused one on one sessions were critical to a patient’s healing journey. However, most models for physical therapy at the time simply could not allow for the time and space that practitioners and patients needed to do the hard work of rehabilitation. With the opening of Thrive Integrated Physical Therapy in 2003 - Tamar was able to realize her vision - a healing space where both patients and expert practitioners could actually thrive, empowered by expanded private session time, cutting edge rehabilitative techniques and a robust array of uncrowded equipment.
