Anne earned her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2001 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2002 from Northwestern University. She has been practicing for over 10 years and has completed extensive continuing clinical education. Anne has been part of the teaching faculty at Northwestern University's Physical Therapy program for over 5 years. Anne specializes in the treatment of general musculoskeletal pain, running injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Patients who have worked with Anne have complimented her on her professionalism, her ability to diagnosis and efficiently treat pain and movement dysfunction, her knowledge and expertise, and her compassion.Anne McJimsey, started Symmetry Physical Therapy in the fall of 2012. Anne had worked for a large hospital system for much of her career, however, was searching for a practice where she could spend more time with her patients in order to optimize the quality of her care. Anne started Symmetry Physical Therapy under the guidelines of providing one-on-one care for an hour which she has continued throughout the growth of her practice. Symmetry Physical Therapy originally started in the Lakeshore East community but has recently re-located to the Northcenter neighborhood just south of Lincoln Square.
