I was so impressed with how chiropractic helped me heal from a sports injury in high school, I decided to become a chiropractor myself. I graduated from the country's most well-known chiropractic school―Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa―in June 2000 and opened my first office in my hometown in upstate New York. I ran a family practice there for 11 years, and then had the opportunity to manage a chiropractic clinic in Peru for a year. When my wife and I returned to the States we opened a second practice in Philadelphia. We loved the city and grew a great practice. But while in Peru, we had volunteered at an orphanage and fell in love with some of the kids there. We decided to adopt four of them and knew we would need family support. So we bought a house in the same neighborhood as my parents and sister and moved to Durham, NC. I'm honored to be here and geared up to be part of this community for many years to come.In January of 2015, Dr. Martin purchased a clinic that's been in Durham for years (formerly called Holistic Chiropractic). We changed the name to Precision Chiropractic reflect our new focus on precise, corrective care.
