Leah (Shilmover) Karpelson, D.Ac. M. Ac., Dipl. Ac., earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and a Master's degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture. Prior to studying acupuncture, Leah earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on Child Development and a minor in accounting. Leah's areas of interest include helping those dealing with depression and anxiety, particularly panic disorder. Leah also focuses on acupuncture for fertility, menstrual issues, and pregnancy-related symptoms. Leah's extensive clinical experience at the New England School of Acupuncture student clinic, Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, and the Elder Service Plan of the North Shore included 630 clinical hours and 136 different patients.
