I was always told "you're just going to have to LIVE with it." I believed that all through my childhood, because it seem to be true: I had Asthma as long as I could remember until I started getting adjusted for my NECK problem I created through working toward one of my Black Belts in the Martial Arts. Since I had experienced chiropractic for myself and the MIRACLE of no longer needing the 3 different Asthma medications to live a" Normal " life , my path to being a chiropractor had been laid. The thought of helping others with their health limitations and expanding their sense of possibility of what "could be" if they just felt better or had better health without feeling dependent on a CHEMICAL to survive. Dr. G. is married to Michelle and have 3 princesses that were all born naturally, without drug as well as not being vaccinated. (if that sounds interesting, be sure to ask Dr G to explain!) We enjoy getting out and exercising together, laughing, playing, reading and movies. My familOptimal Health Center had began from where our Tempe chiropractor, Dr. James Garrett was trained and was an owner of Natural Life Center. NLC was built and sustained by W. John Connors in 1984; On Mar 1, 1988, Drs. Garrett/Connors opened up the 2nd of 7 Natural Life Centers here in the valley. In June of 2003, our Tempe chiropractor, Dr. Garrett decided to surrender his Partial Ownership of NLC and strictly focus on what he does/loves most, Taking care of People; That's how "Optimal Health Center was Born". For the last 28 years caring for people's spines/and many other health concerns, Dr. Garrett has relocated his chiropractic office to the current location of 2238 S. McClintock Dr., Tempe, 85282. He has also expanded his treatment options by including Decompression Treatment for people that are have Neurological symptoms like numbness or tingling into the arms and hands or hips and legs.
