Dr. Ryan's journey to become a Chiropractor was born out of a family experience. At the age of four, his mother woke up and found that she was unable to walk normally. Dr. Ryan's grandparents took her to two different medical doctors who were unable to reach a diagnosis. Unsatisfied, they went to another Doctor, not knowing that the Doctor was a Chiropractor. After a brief exam, he determined that she had somehow misaligned her pelvis and after a quick adjustment, she jumped off the table as if nothing had happened. Thanks to this event, Dr. Ryan's parents decided that from an early age, he and his sister would be checked by a Chiropractor regularly. Dr. Ryan always enjoyed the experience at the Chiropractor's office, and remembers thinking as a child that he'd like to be a Chiropractor. After graduating college and exploring his options, a conversation with his uncle re-ignited his interest in Chiropractic and a week later, Dr. Ryan set on a path to becoming a Chiropractor.Our founder and Chiropractor, Dr. Ryan Engstrom, graduated in 2007 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Ryan has been in full-time practice in Washington, DC and the Chicago metropolitan area prior to moving with his wife and daughter to Colorado to serve the Denver region with the formation of Level Chiropractic.
