I graduated in 2005 from the Healing Arts Center in St. Louis, Missouri and I taught Shiatsu and Core Curiculum there for several years. I specialize in a client focused therapeutic massage blending swedish massage with deep tissue, myofascial, acupressure, and energywork. I have studied and currently practice Shiatsu or acupressure massage focusing on the energy meridians of the body. I am a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and received my National Certification in 2005 I am a business member of the Benton Park neighborhood association I am focused on my community and spreading the news about how professional massage therapy can add wellness to your life!Indigo Massage & Wellness began as a private massage therapy practice of Anne Childers, LMT. She began working in massage therapy shortly after completing her 600 hours at the Healing Arts Center in Maplewood. After living in Benton Park for six years she decided that she wanted to provide her community with professional massage therapy services. After only a few months, Indigo brought on four massage therapists to grow their cleintele and accomodate the growing need for professional massage therapy services in St. Louis City. We continue to grow to meet the needs of the community and now employ 13 Massage Therapists, 1 Acupuncturist, and 3 Receptionists. We have a 3500 sq ft facility featuring three couples rooms and a yoga studio (Studio Blue) on the third floor with beautiful views and lots of sunshine. We are currently working on our second location coming soon to Maplewood!
