Hi, I am Carla, I am a highly qualified, board certified & registered, licensed acupuncturist with 20 years experience in healthcare in the UK, China & the US with 12 years here in New Jersey. my husband Mark Corkin (Chiropractor) & I opened Healthworks as a space to treat patients in the Manasquan, Wall, Point Pleasant Beach, Brick, Howell, Brielle, Allaire & Monmouth / Ocean county area. I am a member of the American Acupuncture Council, the American Society of Acupuncturists & board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. I am certified in Clean Needle Technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine since 2009. I have experience treating musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological & post surgical pain, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, digestive & gynecological complaints & wellness maintenance through Acupuncture, Cupping, Guasha (scraping) Qigong, tai chi electroacupuncture auriculotherapy, ear seeds, acupressure & more.After 2020 Carla and Mark Corkin realized there was a need for a quiet, calm treatment place where patients can be given natural health treatments, including Acupuncture, Chiropractic adjustments, Gua Sha, dietary advice, cupping, Qi gong & more to decrease pain, calm stress, trauma and anxiety & help get our patients health working properly again. That is why we opened our clinic - Healthworks in Manasquan New Jersey As an Acupuncturist and Chiropractor team we are here to provide our patients with what we can to get on track to feeling better, to get our patients healthier, stronger and more pain free and improve the wellness of our community. We aim to provide top notch individualized private care in a relaxing environment.
