Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Millstein graduated from the Univof Pennsylvania (Penn) in Philadelphia with honors in mathematics. While living a athletic lifestyle at Penn, Dr. Millstein discovered he could incorporate his love of sports into his career. He then attended medical school at Penn, where he graduated with AOA and other honors. After medical school, Dr. Millstein completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Univ of Chicago. He went on to the Southern California Orthopedic Institute for a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. This advanced training included arthroscopic and minimally-invasive surgery of the shoulder and knee, in addition to shoulder replacement surgery. After completing his fellowship training, Dr. Millstein began his private practice in Los Angeles in 2004. He lives in Santa Monica with his wife, two kids, and many dogs and cats. When not with his family, he remains active with yoga, Krav Maga, jiu-jitsu, basketball and skiing.Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA, our office is filled with a friendly and knowledgeable team of clinicians and administrators who are dedicated to providing you with an excellent experience and impeccable care.
