Acerca de

Nicole is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 20 years of experience. She received her Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, NY in 1995. In 2011 she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A. T. Still University. Her clinical experience has been primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting but also includes acute care, home health care, chronic pain management, industrial rehabilitation, and skilled nursing settings. In July 2015 she received her Certified Personal Trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).Dr. Becken has been practicing physical therapy in Wilmington since 2001. She has enjoyed treating patients in Carolina Beach since 2009 and began her private practice in 2015. She is proud to be a part of the Assertive Athletics and Fitness family and to have the privilege to help physical therapy and personal training clients of all ages achieve their goals at Pleasure Island's premier gym and training facility.
