Owner/Physical Therapist, Liz Bottrell, has the unique training of being fellowship-trained in orthopedic manual physical therapy (hands-on treatment such as manipulation, joint mobilization, and soft tissue mobilization, massage, and bodywork). She is an avid athlete and adventurer and brings that passion and knowledge to her patients. Her interest in teaching extends beyond patient education & allowed her to teach at the number one physical therapy school in the nation. Not only is Liz the owner of Artisan Physical Therapy but she is your physical therapist. She values the opportunity to be your go to source for musculoskeletal problems and recommends check-ups every 6 to 12 months (just as you would see your dentist or physician) to address muscle imbalances of tightness or weakness, impaired posture or movement before these problems become symptomatic - all for the purpose of greater quality of life, health, wellness. Client uniquenes is valued and as a result she offers mobile PTLiz has been treating patients as a physical therapist for 13 years throughout the US & has prestigious advanced fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Motivated to offer the highest possible care to her clients and patients, she opened Artisan Physical Therapy in the summer of 2014 in order to offer consistent, quality, focused physical therapy. Artisan PT is located in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles 90026 which is convenient from Echo Park, DTLA, Los Feliz, Hollywood, Atwater Village, FrogTown, Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Glendale and even Pasadena or La Cañada. Not only does Artisan Physical Therapy offers typical clinic visits throughout the week, but also offers the unique option of mobile treatment to take the healing to where you do life (office, swimming pool, soccer field, gym, home etc).
