Acerca de

After gaining profound relief from neck and low back injuries with acupuncture, I became inspired to learn the art. I earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) in 2010 and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2019 from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, a four-year, comprehensive program in acupuncture, herbs and the fundamentals of Chinese as well as Western medicine. I completed a two-year clinical internship at Pacific College in general medicine, and another two-year internship at Acusport, a leading health center in orthopedic rehabilitation. During this time, I pursued a long standing a passion for women's health care and fertility. I am a licensed acupuncturist and primary care physician in CA and have been certified nationally as well. I earned my BA from the UC Santa Cruz and ran a thriving massage practice for 8 years while furthering my studies. I have worked with multiple professional athletes, from the NFL to the US Olympic team.

Acupuncture stimulates the body's internal resources activating a healing response which enables the body to recover from injury, disease and stress and attain optimal wellness. The primary focus of acupuncture is to correct the underlining cause of illness or disease, thus restoring harmony for lasting relief and wellbeing. Traditional Chinese Medicine utilizes five branches of practice to achieve this, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, exercise therapy, and lifestyle counseling. As a physician of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I combine eastern therapies with modern science to create an integrative and holistic approach for my patients. My mission is to provide the highest caliber of patient care combined with medical treatment that has proven continued results for thousands of years. I practice general medicine and treat an array of complaints from sinus and digestive problems to stress, chronic pain and migraines. I specialize in pain management, orthopedics and sports medicine, as well as women's health, fertility and care during pregnancy.
