Managing Patient Reviews

Last updated Jun 27, 2026

How Reviews Work

Patients who have had a verified appointment with your practice can leave a review. Reviews include a star rating and written feedback. All reviews are from verified patients — anonymous or unverified reviews are not allowed.

Responding to Reviews

You can respond to reviews publicly from your provider dashboard. Best practices:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all reviews.
  • Never disclose PHI in a public response — even if the patient mentioned their condition.
  • Thank the patient for positive feedback.
  • For negative reviews, acknowledge the concern and invite the patient to contact your office directly.

Flagging Inappropriate Reviews

If a review contains abusive language, false claims, or violates our Terms and Conditions, click Flag Review. Our moderation team reviews flagged content within 48 hours.

HIPAA Considerations

Even if a patient discusses their condition in a review, you cannot confirm or deny that they are your patient in your response. Keep all public responses general and professional.
