Jim Trakis has been in the physical therapy field since 2003. He graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Biology in 2000, and completed his doctoral degree in physical therapy at Drexel University. Jim has since garnered over a decade of experience treating orthopedic and sports medicine related injuries. He specializes in understanding how your injury affects your life and generating the most specific rehabilitative program. He utilizes an eclectic combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, taping techniques, and modalities to help restore function. Jim also coordinates sports medicine coverage for the soccer teams at the New York Athletic Club and provides injury prevention training for the baseball team at the Moorestown Friends School. Jim, his wife, and two kids live in Moorestown New Jersey. Jim is very active with his children as a baseball, travel soccer, and flag football coach. He is an avid runner and participates in local athletic leagues.Fortius Physical Therapy was established in NYC in January of 2008. We try to make utilizing our services convenient for our patients as we offer hours early morning, midday, and after work. We are conveniently located on Marter avenue, halfway between Main Street and Wegman's. We are within a half mile of the intersection of I-295 and route 38.
