I wanted to help people feel better and get healthier thru chiropractic care.Dr. Thompson is a national board certified chiropractor in private practice specializing in non-surgical treatment of neck and back pain. Prior to relocating to Weaverville, NC. Dr.Thompson directed a private practice setting in Spruce Pine for 17 years; During that he developed a comprehensive disc injury therapy program that utilizes several modalities; This integrative approach has proven successful in providing relief from chronic pain and acute injury and re-educating the body to optimal performance. Dr. Thompson also has been trained in Graston and FAFTR Myofascial Release technique. While in Spruce Pine, Dr. Thompson was in the Kiwanis, an organization that builds stronger communities, for 12 years holding many positions including Club President.
