Kevin Schoonmaker spent a good portion of his life in the US Army as an Apache Helicopter Mechanic and Leader. As he was transitioning off active duty, into the reserves to become a Medic he started personal training. He became a licensed massage therapist to better serve his clients and quickly learned he had a passion for helping people heal. Over the next few years Kevin increase his knowledge of massage, learned multiple modalities of energy healing and studied essential oils. Continuing his education he studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at The World Medicine Institute where he graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture. Now, Kevin strives to serve the community by offering the healing technique of Integrated Modalities Bodywork. IMB offers the therapeutic effects of Trigger Point, Myofascial, Deep Tissue and Therapeutic Massage coupled with Energy Healing, Tradition Chinese Medicine techniques and the powerful effects of Pure doTerra Essential Oils.George Davis started The Pain Relief Center as a way to help his fellow endurance athletes handle the rigors of endurance training for triathlon, marathon, and open ocean swimming. As he studies other modalities, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Energywork, his technique evolved into a system of care he calls Integrated Modalities Bodywork (IMB), and incredibly effective blend of Western, Eastern, and Energetic practices. He taught IMB to his therapists so that regardless of who treated you, you'd receive the benefits of this amazing, healing technique. As of August 1, 2022 stepped back to pursue his love of painting and better enjoy life in beautiful Hawaii. George has passed on the business to his high trained lead therapist, Kevin Schoonmaker. Kevin is excited to continue the healing work that George has started and looks forward to helping you, as always, feel better in your body.
