Dr. Powell is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in injuries to the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. He trained at Hospital for Joint Diseases NYU and Kerlan Jobe. He is Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at USC Keck School of Medicine and for 10 years Team Physician for the US Soccer Women's National Team. He has lectured on Sports Medicine techniques on six continents and has served on the Board of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and United Cerebral Palsy and is the Medical Director of the MusiCares Medical Network.
