Dr. Rick Wells, the 2021, 2022, 2023 Rural Virginian Chiropractor of the Year, practicing at Lake Monticello, VA, Powhatan, VA, and Louisa, VA. Dr. Wells purchased his first practice in 2003 and quickly became the busiest chiropractor in the area, entrusted to take care of tiny babies to pro athletes, the physically and mentally challenged to centenarians. He continues his practice today at three locations in Palmyra VA, Powhatan VA, and Louisa VA. Professionally, Dr. Wells was on the Virginia Chiropractic Association Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters Review Committee. He has volunteered as a first response member, and as a Tiger Cub Scout Leader. In addition, Rick Wells, DC, has served on the Board of Parks and Recreation. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland earning a Baccalaureate of Science in Biomechanics/Kinesiology from the College of Health and Human Performance, and Palmer College of Chiropractic earning a Doctorate of Chiropractic.Rick Wells DC, purchased the oldest and most prestigious Chiropractic Clinic in Lake Monticello, VA. Started by Dr. Barreca in the winter of 1999, Lake Chiropractic was acquired by Dr. Rick Wells in the fall of 2003. In 2017, Rick Wells DC, started working in Louisa at Dr. Boley's practice after he was having health issues. Dr. Wells still keeps office hours there today. In 2023, Rick Wells DC, started another location in Powhatan, VA. Dr. Rick Wells is the current clinical director of all three locations. He is a former pro hockey, and rugby chiropractor. He has worked with newborns, to centenarians, and mentally and physically challenged to pro athletes. Dr. Wells networks with the best professionals in the area, and the three office locations offers Chiropractic Care (acute, chronic, or wellness) to their area neighbors.
