Dr. Rachel remembers the joy she had dressing as "Dr. Rach" in kindergarten. With a desire to help families and to share with them the blessing of holistic health she has experienced with chiropractic care since birth, she pursued her doctorate at Sherman College of Chiropractic, SC following her Neuro degree at Lehigh University. Rachel is committed to educate families on the beauty and wonder of the nerve system. She frequently speaks at family wellness workshops, schools, children and parent groups, churches, clubs, and organizations in the community. Rachel enjoys travelling in chiropractic service, and has cared for families in Haiti & the Dominican. Rachel believes when we are connected with our nervous system as the God-given source which directs bodily healing, we experience the best inner healing of our own design.Outside of her love for chiropractic, Rachel enjoys the adventure of the outdoors, the challenge of running and hiking, and the joy of healthy eating and gardening.The unique design of our facility was designed with the intention to offer holistic, vitalistic healthcare in a healthy, natural setting. We are located amid the soothing sights & sounds of 16 acres of natural meadow in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, near the junction of Interstate 81 & 81 and approximately a 1/2 hour from the 476 Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike. The building design was conceived by renowned ecological architect Sim Van Der Ryn of Sausalito, California. The center of our building is positioned with the equinox of the sun which allows for solar gain in the winter and shade in the summer. The living roof was designed by architect Charlie Miller of Roofmeadow. It is literally alive with 6,000 sedum plants that create a living meadow on the building & a thermal balance from the heat and cold.
