Mary Drost is a licensed physical therapist and owner of Victoria Physical Therapy. She grew up in Victoria, Texas and participated in sports in high school. She attended Texas Women's University and graduated in 1984. Mary has a vast array of physical therapy experience: *Orthopedic Out-Patient Physical Therapy *Physical Therapy in Acute Hospital Care *Physical Therapy in Hospital for Long-Term Care *Physical Therapy for Wound Care *Home Health Physical Therapy *Nursing Home Physical Therapy *Sports Physical Therapy Mary is currently pursuing a transitional doctoral degree through the University of Texas Medical Branch. With over 30 years of clinical experience, Mary has practiced in a multitude of settings, which affords her a deeper knowledge base for evaluating and treating simple and complex patients. This includes post surgical, balance disorders, geriatrics, gait abnormalities, weakness, pain syndromes and manual therapy skills.Victoria Physical Therapy was founded by licensed Physical Therapist David Drost in 1971. He is a native Victorian and graduate of St. Joseph High School. He attended Victoria College and Texas State University before completing his degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1963. David worked several years at both Citizens Medical Center and DeTar Hospital before beginning Victoria Physical Therapy in 1971, the first private physical therapy practice in Victoria. David has maintained membership in the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association, since 1963. He is involved in his community through his participation in the Victoria Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He was a past board member and remains an active member of the Victoria 100 Club.
