As a pre-vet student at WPI, I began to have lower back pain. My parents suggested I see their chiropractor. Within a few treatments, my pain was gone! I was so impressed by how the chiropractor was able to diagnose and treat my problem with little more than his hands that I began to consider chiropractic as a career. After lots of research and soul-searching, I decided that chiropractic was the right path for me. After graduating from WPI in 2003 with high honors, I enrolled at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. In 2008 I graduated as valedictorian of my class with a D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic). Getting back pain in 2002 was the best thing that ever happened to me- I absolutely love coming to work every day! I get to teach people how their bodies work and how to take care of them. Nothing is better than seeing a patient's smile when their pain subsides and they are able to return to doing the things they love.After graduating in 2008 from the University of Western States, Dr. King practiced as an associate chiropractor at Fairway Chiropractic in Tewksbury for two years before deciding to open her own practice in Chelmsford. King Chiropractic opened its doors in September 2010.
