Anna-Marie was born and raised in Long Beach, CA, where she grew up in the mecca of volleyball elites. At a young age, Anna-Marie found her niche in playing volleyball. Her abilities landed her a full athletic scholarship to the University of Idaho. Following her stellar career at U of I she continued her education at Shenandoah University where she pursued her dual-degree, a Masters of Science in Athletic Training and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which she completed in 2008. Her dual degree training allowed her to pursue and develop a multifaceted Sports Medicine expertise. She has been practicing as a physical therapist and athletic trainer for the past 4 years in the sports medicine/orthopedic setting, treating a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical conditions. She believes the whole kinetic chain is involved not just the focalized injury site. Also, injury prevention training, preseason training and combined cross training are essential in the rehabilitation realm.Elite Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy is a privately owned physical therapy clinic specializing in orthopeadics, sports medicine, injury prevention, sports performance training, and trigger point dry needling. We are owned and operated by physical therapists and have a desire for delivering first-rate care in a fun and friendly environment.
