Dr. Alexandra Morando, a Pittsburgh native, graduated with her Bachelors in Natural Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. After volunteering at local hospitals and focusing her efforts on the study of science and global medicine, she decided to pursue a career in complementary and alternative healthcare. She graduated with her Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College and her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She also had the once in a lifetime opportunity to receive 100 hours of additional clinical training at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM located in the breathtaking city of Hangzhou. With her diverse education, Dr. Alexandra was inspired to provide her patients with the opportunity to be assessed and treated as a whole person. Welcome to Back on Point, a chiropractic, acupuncture and wellness clinic serving Wexford and surrounding communities. Back on Point was founded in 2018 by Dr. Alexandra Morando, a dually licensed Chiropractor and Acupuncturist with a passion for empowering patients to take charge of their own health. Her mission as a holistic practitioner and educator is to provide customized, hands-on, evidence-based treatments to patients in all stages of life who are looking for a natural approach to wellness. Back on Point is committed to helping individuals reach their health and wellness goals - whatever they may be. Each person is unique, and Back on Point is dedicated to viewing every patient as a whole. By evaluating the mind, body and spirit, all patients will be provided with compassionate care tailored to their specific needs.

I can't say enough good things about Carol. She provides personalized care for what's going on at any given time while keeping big picture goals in mind. She is knowledgeable and is great at communicating about her care strategies. She's also a compassionate listener, which is huge, because I'm guessing very few patients seek out acupuncture because they are doing perfectly fine. Thanks for four years of amazing care!
