Dena brings 15 years of Treatment Massage Therapy plus extensive understanding of kinesiology to her practice, Applied Pressure. She has two understudies (Brian and Briana) whom are both Phenomenal LmTs and following in her footsteps beautifully. Schedule with Applied Pressure if you’re looking for bodywork far more affective than your everyday massage.Dena Kinate, the creater of Applied Pressure, chose to move to Austin after living and practicing in Minneapolis, MN & Bend, Oregon to start her deep tissue massage studio because she felt Austin, with it's many active residents, was in need of a great deep tissue massage studio; the city is reaching a point where it is becoming more open and accepting massage as an essential part of healthcare and body maintenance rather than just a luxery.

Applied Pressure Treatment is a combination of Treatment Massage Therapies including Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Deep Ashiatsu. Also offering posture/gate assessment at the beginning and end of massage, as well as Sports Massage pre and post event.
