Dr. Mark Akers has been in family practice for over 20 years as a natural primary care provider. He is an expert with Applied Kinesiology, advanced chiropractic methods and the application of nutritional products as natural antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and immune activators in the treatment of injury and illness. He is specialized in the holistic treatment of acute and chronic diseases of structure and metabolism. Dr Akers accepts difficult cases involving autoimmunity and Lyme related illness. His integrated spinal disc regeneration program has helped hundreds avoid surgery and resume active lifestyles. As a martial artist himself, Dr Akers understands and is skilled at keeping sports enthusiasts doing what they love to do with quick recoveries and improved performance. Dr Akers received his doctorate in Chiropractic Science from Cleveland Chiropractic College following a career in the aerospace industry. He is licensed in Colorado as board-certified Chiropractor.
