Renaissance Healing and Learning Center provides a combo of physical therapy with help of the horse which is called hippo therapy. Hippotherapy has been a recognized form or rehabilitation in Europe for many years. The horse's movement is reciprocal and rhythmical. the warmth of the horse also promotes relaxation of tight muscles and spasticity. The stride of the horse is similar to the human stride when walking. Muscles are stimulated as if the person were walking. Other benefits include strengthening, flexibility and core stabilization.
