Karen Russell started her movement career at the age of six in Erie, Pennsylvania. By the time she was in her early twenties she performed professionally on stage, in feature films and on television. She has worked with legends such as; Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bette Midler, Kenny Chesney and Alice Cooper. Karen started her passion for yoga in 1997 while studying Iyengar in NYC, but it was a dance injury in 2000 that guided her to a professional yoga career. She enhanced her knowledge of yoga while studying with top yoga professionals. Since 2005, Karen has been an active teacher, producer, community outreach representative, ambassador for Lululemon, CEO and owner of the Yoga Groove Studio. She contributed her business, management and creative skills for several successful companies (Corepower Yoga, Yoga Works, Naam Yoga La, Tantris Yoga and Retail Center, Mandala Center, and Industry Venice) and has owned the Yoga NoHo Center since 2017. Feels blessed to still be open after covid.The Yoga NoHo Center was established in 2013 and has had a strong presence in the NoHo Arts District. The Center is your neighborhood studio offering deep yogic training with a modern flair. This boutique studio offers Far Infrared Heated and Traditional Yoga classes to empower all levels of yoga enthusiasts. Deepen your practice with one of our Teacher Training Programs, Workshops or International Retreats with our sister studio in Mysore, India. We continue to serve the community and look forward to moving through Covid 19 as a strong team.

We are the only studio offering True Far Infrared Hot classes (our studios have hardwood floors for optimal experience and is antiviral and anti-bacterial with the true far infrared system) Non-heated traditional classes such as; Gentle, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, and Kundalini. We offer weekly sound baths for just the cost of your class credit, 200 and 300hr certified teacher training (Karen Russell and her team have been conducting training for over 22 years), workshops, retreats, massage, chiropractic, natural facials and holistic counseling services. New to yoga? No worries, our teachers are highly trained and can guide all levels in a room with thoughtful modifications to enhance your individual needs. Space is limited, so please pre-register for all yoga classes through our website or on the Wellness Living Achieve App. If you have any issues with signing up, then email us at [email protected], or come ten minutes before the class to sign you up. We are open 15 min before class and lock the door during all sessions. Please out of the respect to the the students who are on time and in the class room, we can't allow any late entry. We have limited parking in the Muse building, street parking (Chandler always has a lot of parking, which is one block north from us), and for all early classes, our 7:00 and 7:30 am classes you can park at big lots.
