Christine graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in electrical engineering in 1979 and began working for Western Electric in Greensboro, NC in computer programming. Once her first child was born, she decided to be a stay-at-home-mom, and to this day still refers to that eight year period of time as "her favorite job". Once her youngest entered school, Christine decided to go back to college to become a chiropractor. This decision made sense since the chiropractic paradigm mirrored her own ideas about where health comes from with a philosophy that states that the body is designed for self healing. After graduating from Life University in Marietta, GA in 1996 with a doctor of chiropractic (DC) degree, she made her way north to Fredericksburg, fell in love with the quaint and historic town and founded her practice at its current location.After graduating from Life University in Marietta, GA with a doctor of chiropractic degree, Dr. Thompson moved to Fredericksburg and first set up practice as Thompson Family Chiropractic Center. In 2001 the practice name was changed to Whole Health Chiropractic, Inc. It is now known as Whole Health Solutions to reflect the diversity of services offered including nutritional counseling.
