Every department is lackluster except the low vision clinic, outpatient physical therapy, firm B primary care, and the dentistry department. I wish they'd give us veterans top-notch care as we put our life on the line and fulfilled our service obligation.

My experience at the VA West Haven has been very positive. I am extremely satisfied with the care I’ve received for my mental health, back pain, foot surgery, and nasal issues and a fee more. The staff has shown professionalism, patience, and genuine concern for my well-being regardless an Emergency, Schedule follow up or therepy session, It feels good to know there is a team that truly cares about veterans and works hard to support us. Thank you for the continued care and dedication.

Pros:
Those who you meet are very professional and have great manners. The café has a cute selection of sandwiches. The providers are kind. The new parking garage they built makes parking much easier.
Cons:
No one at the front desk to help direct you.
Reading the signs is confusing because the main entrance is actually Building 2, not 1. The café clerk is quite rude and even swore under her breath because she didn’t want to be at work.
