Dr. Paul Glodzik is a graduate of both the State University of New York at Buffalo and the National University of Health Sciences. He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weightlifting Coach and has worked as a Sports Performance coach with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Football team, Ashburn Extreme Junior Hockey teams, Virginia Wild Junior Hockey teams and athletes involved in volleyball, golf and track and field. He has also worked as one of the team chiropractors for the Potomac Athletic Club Rugby team, Washington DC Slayers Rugby League team, and Washington DC Furies Womens Rugby team for the past three years. Dr. Glodzik has also been certified as an Active Release Technique provider, Certified Kinesio-Taping Practitioner and Graston Technique provider.After completing chiropractic school Dr. Glodzik went to work for another doctor, in Maryland, who was working in the Sports Medicine field. While working there he learned both how to treat an athlete and how to run a business. At the end of his contract he decided that it would be best for the DC athletic communities and himself to start a practice in the District itself. Living and being an athlete in DC clued him in to the fact that DC really needed a dedicated Sports Medicine clinic. Starting in August of 2010 he opened WISPC in Cleveland Park. Just this past February he moved into my new larger location in Woodley Park directly across the street from the National Zoo. Dr. Glodzik is also a certified Strength and Conditioning coach and USA Weightlifting coach. With this background he is able to help an athlete get back on the field stronger and in less time after an injury.
