It was a chiropractor who treated Dr. Erika Mennerick while she was a high school athlete who first piqued her interest in the field of chiropractic medicine. The care that she received led her to choose the National University of Health Sciences for her Doctoral education. After starting her private practice in 2005, Dr. Mennerick found her strengths in gait analysis and biomechanics as well as natural medicine. Dr. Mennerick has served as part-time faculty at the National University of Health Sciences since 2007 and currently teaches pediatrics, pregnancy care, and female health. As an instructor for the Motion Palpation Institute, she leads post-graduate seminars on adjusting technique, biomechanics, and functional assessment. She supports the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society as a member.
