Amy is a dually licensed and insured Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist in the state of Hawaii. Amy specializes in Orthopedic-style Acupuncture, also known as Motor Point Acupuncture or Dry Needling for pain management and rehabilitation. Amy is also a Certified Sarga Bodywork Practitioner and Instructor. Sarga Bodywork is a barefoot massage modality that is myofascial in its approach. Sarga differs from Ashiatsu because no overhead bar system is needed and the directionality of the pressure is not perpendicular to the body and joints. Rather, Sarga Bodywork is an effective myofascial technique because it utilizes gravitational and tensional force in an oblique fashion.Located in the heart of Mānoa Valley, on the island of Oahu, The Mānoa House is a collaborative wellness space for alternative medicine practitioners within a valley cottage home built in 1953. Currently, we are a team of licensed healthcare providers, including acupuncturists, massage therapists, and estheticians!
