Jaime Cruz, certified by the Bowenwork Academy in 2012, owns and operates The Body Clinic. Like so many of her clients and colleagues, she has sciatica to thank for her discovery of Bowenwork. After years of trying to ignore nagging lower-back pain that continued all the way down her leg, a trusted friend and Bowenwork practitioner suggested she give it a try. After only one session the pain was gone. When, several years later, she was experiencing a new pain in her elbow, she remembered the treatment and its amazing results; it was then she realized that Bowen could be more to her than a tool to help her body be its best.

The Body Clinic specializes in Bowenwork. Bowenwork is a powerful and minimal form of bodywork. It has applications for relaxation, pain relief, injury recovery, stress reduction, as well as for the maintenance of health and wellness. Bowenwork works with the body's own innate ability to heal itself. It reminds the body of its natural relaxed state and allows the body to focus on its own healing process.
