Janet is a licensed physical therapist, as well as a certified massage therapist. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology and Psychology from the University of California, Davis and then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California in 2009. Since then, she has been working as a licensed physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics. Janet received her massage training from Massage Therapy Institute in Davis, California and Cypress Health Institute in Santa Cruz, California. Janet's background in physical therapy allows her to provide a uniquely effective and therapeutic massage experience.

We have a deep appreciation for the physical and emotional effects of massage. Unlike other chain massage establishments that rush your experience and use the same routine techniques on each client, we customize every session to each individual and their specific needs. We take the time to learn your goals and remain attentive throughout your massage, using your body's cues to guide the focus of the session. Soma Therapeutic Touch provides therapeutic massages to help alleviate acute and chronic soft tissue injuries, as well as stress related symptoms.
