One day while waiting in the chiropractor's reception room I struck up a conversation with a patient. I was shocked to hear he had been a patient for over 10 years. So I had to ask what his story was. The patient had been suffering with migraines for over 20 years. He had seen many doctors and even a psychiatrist. None of them helped in the slightest. They all prescribed some form of drug that muted the migraine slightly but gave terrible side effects. After getting no help and suffering for years, the patient was referred to a chiropractor. In short, in relatively quick fashion his life-long bought with migraines subsided and virtually went away. I was so blown away by his story I ended up talking to all the other patients in that doctors office and many of them had similar stories. After that I decided to become a chiropractor. And, so I did!
