I grew up on Long Island in New York as the third of four children. I was very active in sports and music and focused on doing well academically. I studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania and earned my B.S.E.E. in 1986. Following graduate work toward a Masters Degree in Engineering at the University of Delaware, I worked as a telecommunications consultant and product manager for 4 years in Northern Virginia before deciding to attend chiropractic school at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. My career change has a great deal to do with my own experiences with chiropractic following a sports injury combined with a fascination for biomechanics from my involvement with sports and engineering. I graduated first in my class at Palmer College in June of 1995 and opened Reinhold Chiropractic Group in October that year. I have tried to create a practice I would be happy to send my own family to. I take a unique engineering approach to spinal care.Dr. Rich Reinhold began his career as an engineer with a BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania. After a sports injury, Dr. Reinhold became fascinated with the biomechanics of the body and decided to attend chiropractic school at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Reinhold graduated first in his class and started Reinhold Chiropractic to provide a family-like atmosphere for his patients. Dr. Reinhold approaches spinal health with the skill of a well-trained chiropractor and the insight of a professional engineer. Reinhold Chiropractic Group is a team of experienced professionals who provide excellent care in a friendly family-like environment for the Hampton Roads community.
