I found chiropractic like so many other people...after trying everything else. From birth, I was faced with one health challenge after the next. I was born six weeks premature and had a long stay in an oxygen tent. After that my childhood was a long list of ailments. I loved playing hockey but soon it became clear that I couldn't keep up with the other kids. It was when I was introduced to a chiropractor at the age of ten that things began to turn around. I could breathe better, play sports and stop using my inhalers except for very occassionally. My practice is now centered on finding ways to ensure every patient heals and gets back to doing what they love... and finding ways to take them to new levels! Both doctors grew up with issues they thought they were going to live with forever. Dr. Shulman had pounding headaches, scoliosis and random autoimmune symptoms, while Dr. Neely's asthma, allergies and ongoing sicknesses had him sitting on the sidelines rather than playing the sports he loved. They were frustrated with never-ending doctor appointments that ended with new prescriptions and little relief. Someone suggested a chiropractor, and they were ready to try anything. It was life changing. They were so amazed with the improvements in their health that they switched career paths and became chiropractors! They opened Pure-Health over 25 years ago and are so grateful for the number of patients that they and their team of chiropractors, massage therapists and nutritionists have been able to help.
