Performance & Recovery Labs is owned by Kate Ripley. Kate is a 20+ year professional of the sports massage/healthcare business world. PR Labs is Kate's vision come to life, a collaborative sports medicine practice, recovery lab and community hub all-in-one, for all people to find the healthcare and support they need as they live their lives more healthily. Performance & Recovery Labs/ PR Labs was conceived to be a hub for active people who wanted high-quality healthcare, with fantastic providers, in one location. Our mission is to make collaborative well-being the norm for our community. We are an inclusive, welcoming and supportive group of practitioners who truly love their work and those they get to work alongside. Performance & Recovery Labs is a woman-owned and operated sports medicine practice. No need to drive all over town for your medical care. Our medical practitioners will work together to create a customized treatment plans. Under one roof we have: Boulder Sports Physiotherapy/physical therapy, The Chiro Lab/chiropractic care, PR Labs Massage Therapy/massage, Forest Performance/personal training, Bolder Nutrition/registered dietitian, Renew IV/IV therapy, Sage Space/plant medicine guidance, red-light therapy & vibroacoustic therapy. Coming Spring of 2024, we will be opening our Recovery Lab with Sunlighten mPulse infrared sauna, Edge Theory Labs cold plunge, and athletic compression devices!

I will never go anywhere else for my massage therapy. Every therapist I've worked with at PR Labs has been exceptional, but Brendan is a miracle worker. Three years ago, I completely shattered my ankle and have been doing my best to hobble around and ignore the pain after multiple surgeries, steel plates and screws. Since working with him, my ankle feels transformed - I've been able to walk mostly like normal for longer periods of time with less daily pain, my flexibility is returning and I actually have hope I will one day be fully recovered. If you are in the kind of pain I was where it is actually destroying your life, do not go to a fancy spa - go to PR Labs and take the first available appointment. It's not cheap but the improvement to quality of life is beyond worth it.

I've seen Dr Lindsey for PT, Audrey for massage, and used the sauna and cold plunge. PR Labs covers all aspects of recovery for me and I couldn't be happier with the service. The sauna and cold plunge feel so good after a long run!

I’ve seen Brenna and Kate for massage and Dr. Lindsey for PT and they are all excellent! I’m a competitive runner and cyclist and I always feel better after leaving PR labs. They helped me stay healthy while training for CIM in 2024. I can’t recommend their services enough! I’ve also seen Shae for energy work and she is fantastic - her and Dr Ellen do a soma flow together where they combine energy work and chiropractic treatment that’s really effective. Highly recommend overall!

I highly recommend PR Labs massage. Tim’s knowledge of the body shines through in his massage. I have had a tight neck with limited rotation for years, and after my first massage with Tim, I had more range of motion than I have had in a long time… and it has lasted. He listens to your concern and then gets to work ironing out the tightness. I have already rebooked!

PR Labs has become a key component to my overall well being and performance. Sarah always takes such good care of me and educates me when issues arise. She has helped me identify and recover from various minor injuries and I am a much stronger person and athlete because of her. Elissa is knowledgeable and her massage services are highly recommended. Overall, the staff is so friendly, and the facility is clean, has tons of great tools and the Recovery Lab is a huge bonus. I always leave my appointments feeling taken care of and ready to tackle anything.
