Dr. Melinda Bryan, PT, DPT Owner/Director Physical Therapist for 30 years Pilates Master Teacher Trainer / Educator - The Pilates Studio of Los AngelesOur Director, Dr. Melinda Bryan, PT, DPT has over 30 years of practice experience with broad expertise as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Pilates Expert and Principal Pilates Master Teacher Trainer. Her background in dance and sports medicine makes her uniquely qualified to treat performers, athletes of all types, and general orthopedic patients. Her experience includes work with the New York City Ballet, touring and backstage services with Broadway shows, professional athletes/dancers, and many in the film/TV industry. Dr. Melinda has lectured nationally on the topic of performing arts medicine and is one of the first to use innovative Pilates techniques to help patients increase strength, flexibility, and endurance during rehabilitation. She has trained with the top Pilates masters Romana Kryzanowska, Corola Trier, Kathy Grant and others.
