Hi! My name is Mauricio Lopez,CMT. I am the owner of Mauricio's Massage and Bodywork. I attended Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City in '01. In '98 I sustained an injury falling on my back 13 feet,in my journey to healing,I believe it led me to my path of massage therapy and bodywork. Truth be told while in high school, I was leaning towards chiropractic...massage and bodywork won out. I have a passion for this craft. When not working, I enjoy playing tennis,recently picked up boxing,reading and most important being around family and friends. Been practicing over 12 yrs. I am a member of ABMP: Associated bodywork and Massage Professionals Certified through CAMTC: California massage therapy councilAfter graduating from Utah College of Massage Therapy in'02. Came back to Modesto, worked for a local chiropractor,an environment where before any, listening, was a must. After half a year,I moved and started my business in San Diego,Ca. Practicing in San Diego was a great eye opening experience for me in the massage industry. Worked on people from all corners of the country and different parts of the world. First place I started was at the Hilton Resort & Spa, soon after was also brought on board at a massage clinic, Inner Balance in Pacific Beach a more local client base,the place that I honed my deep tissue skills. After nearly two years in paradise, moved my business back to Modesto, California. I have been here ever since!
