Dr Jeff Almon graduated from the University of Calgary in 2002 with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He played in the CFL from 2002 to 2004, for the Calgary Stampeders and then the BC Lions. He ended his pro football career when he was accepted into the CMCC's Doctor of Chiropractic program in 2004. Since earning his DC in 2008, Dr Almon has consulted and treated numerous athletes & teams including the Chinese National Speed Skating Team, PGA golfers, FIVB volleyball athletes, Vancouver Canucks development program, Canadian Women's Soccer team, professional sprint cyclists and numerous Olympic athletes. He practices out of his Gastown clinic, MVMTLAB Sports Performance, where his treatments focus on dynamic neuromuscular stabilization. He also created Ground Control & Bazooka group classes to help patients return to pre-injury state by reprogramming their brains to correct movement patterns. Dr Jeff is always excited to share his knowledge of human performance!Dr Almon created MVMTLAB with a vision to transform health care and the world of manual therapy , by changing how practitioners approach injury recovery & prevention. The goal of every practitioner at MVMTLAB is to get you better as fast as possible, and to put you in charge of your own recovery.
