Myopractics -- Latin for "muscle practice" -- Focuses on relieving pain by releasing the restrictions in the muscles and other soft tissues first. This in turn allows the joints to move freely, and body can regain balance on its own. To do this Myopractics integrates important aspects of muscle work blended with trigger point, structural integration as well as musculoskeletal manipulation. Also using deep muscle therapy, assisted stretching, and structural release to help restore the body's balance and ultimately getting the body back into its natural state of comfort or range of motion. Because Myopractics focuses on soft tissue and movement rather than putting the structure "back into place." The manipulations are gentle and non-traumatic. It can be approached with less anxiety, and makes for a great alternative for pain relief.
