I'm Dr. Aklinski, the business owner and chiropractor. I've been treating patients for 15 years and I'm passionate about helping people feel better! I am motivated by solving problems naturally and teaching our patients better self-care. I took over Maxwell Chiropractic in 2013 and since then, I'm thrilled to have added several amazing massage therapists to the team. Massage and chiropractic together provide incredible results for resolving pain and feeling your best!Maxwell Chiropractic was started in 1977 by Dr. David Maxwell. He provided quality chiropractic care for over 30 years and established a name in the Belltown neighborhood. He retired in 2013, and Dr. Lauren Aklinski took over the practice. She continues to provide a similar style of gentle and effective chiropractic treatment to patients of all ages. In 2014 she expanded the practice by adding massage therapy services. Since then the office has grown into a wellness center by also providing acupuncture and naturopathic medicine.

Maxwell Chiropractic & Wellness offers chiropractic care and massage therapy for patients suffering from pain or wanting to feel their best. We commonly treat neck pain, back pain, headache, joint/muscle pain, stiffness, pinched nerves, work/car accidents, sports and pregnancy related symptoms. Dr. Aklinski specializes in delivering gentle and effective chiropractic treatment of neck pain, back pain, and headaches. Her goal is to provide customized treatment based on a thorough physical examination so the cause of the problem can be identified. We treat each patient as unique and steer clear of "cookie cutter" chiropractic treatment. Our massage therapists provide a range of massage styles to suit the patient's unique condition, from deep tissue to Swedish to injury massage. We excel in partnering up massage therapy with chiropractic treatment so that our patients get the results they need quickly. All of our providers are in-network with most major insurances. We also specialize in treating car accident injuries and on-the-job injuries.
