I researched electric vehicles, decided upon and purchased a new Chevrolet Bolt from a dealership. A month later, Chevrolet issued a safety recall/battery warning advising me the vehicle was at risk of catching fire while charging. Chevrolet said until they could replace the battery pack and instructed me not to charge the vehicle indoors nor beyond 75% of the battery capacity.
